The Ronald McDonald House is a charity which offers free housing to family members whose children are very sick and undergoing cancer treatment at the nearby Guy Children's Hospital.

What we do is prepare and cook a hot meal for 20-30 family members, as well as set the tables for them. They always appreciate coming back to a hot meal after a long day at the hospital!

You don't need to be a master chef, rather all who enjoy food are welcome!

The House follows a long tradition of providing a comfortable and supportive “Home from Home” for families of seriously ill children undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. It is a great relief for the families and children facing such a stressful time to know they can stay together, in a caring and welcoming environment.
