High Elms Country Park
Join the Friends of High Elms for conservation activities.
The Friends of High Elms are looking for a little help with park maintenance and conservation tasks.
High Elms is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Local Nature Reserve, enjoying the support of local environmental groups as well as the Friends of High Elms, Natural England and the Forestry Commission. There are chalk meadows and woodlands that support a variety of wildlife including species that are rare in London.
Meet at 12:50 outside the countryside office – tasks run from 1pm – 4pm.
By train and bus: From central London, take the train from Cannon Street Station to Orpington, then the bus from the Orpington Bus Station, take the R8 bus toward Aperfield to High Elms Road.
By car: The park has two carparks, both off High Elms Road
