Outside Camden Town Tube Station
Categories No Categories
Refugee Community Kitchen was created in the winter of 2015 to provide nutritious food for the refugees in the Calais and Dunkirk camps.
In November 2016 the charity set up our their first London outreach to feed the most vulnerable people living on the streets. The charity has witnessed the numbers of homelessness increasing including refugees who, for many reasons end up on the streets.
Refugee Community Kitchen is committed to making sure that as long as this crisis continues there will be hot and healthy food available to those in need.
This can only be done with continued support in both donations and volunteering.
The charity is outside Camden Town tube Station between 7.30pm – 9.00pm on Wednesday and Sunday nights (please arrive a bit earlier). Help is needed to serve meals.
Note: Please do not attend any volunteering opportunity listed on this website until you have taken steps to meet with us and become registered with Hands On London. Charities and community groups featured on our events calendar need to know that volunteers are registered and that their identity has been independently verified – they have requested confirmation of this via Hands On London. If you attend without being registered or approved, it is likely you will be turned away and have a wasted journey.
This event is fully booked.
