We are the Streatham Common Co-operative; a community run social enterprise managing all services from gardening to litter picking in the Streatham Rookery since 2015. Many of you know us as ‘SCCoop’. Currently, we are the only community group with direct responsibility for managing a Lambeth Park.

Help is needed each Tuesday and Thursday from September to February. Volunteers can help with weeding, mulch and pruning. Wear stout shoes and bring gloves, if you have them.

Location:  Meet at the Rookery Café just before 10.00am.

Transport:

Bus: 50, 60, 109, 249, 250 and 255

Trains:     Streatham Common & Streatham – both are about a 12-minute walk to the Common.

Car park:  There is a small car park at the top of Streatham Common South -SW16 3HR. Street parking is difficult on weekdays and weekends when the weather is good.

Note: Please do not attend any volunteering opportunity listed on this website until you have taken steps to meet with us and become registered with Hands On London. Charities and community groups featured on our events calendar need to know that volunteers are registered and that their identity has been independently verified – they have requested confirmation of this via Hands On London.  If you attend without being registered or approved, it is likely you will be turned away and have a wasted journey.
