We're getting ready to Wrap Up London
In 2026, Wrap Up London will be accepting warm coat donations from 2nd - 22nd November.
Since 2011, over 250,000 warm coats have been donated through Wrap Up London. This wouldn't be possible without thousands of Londoners volunteering their time.

Get warm coats to those who
need them
Each winter, thousands of Londoners come together to do something incredible: collecting, sorting and donating warm coats to those who need them most.
Started in 2011, it's now grown into London's largest warm clothing campaign and one of the biggest annual volunteering events in the city.
Founded in partnership with William Blair, Wrap Up London is supported by Transport for London and various organisations, listed at the bottom of this page.
We support over 100 charities, helping women in sheltered accommodation, men sleeping rough and children living in poverty.
This year, you can donate your pre-loved warm coats at one of our 80+ drop-off points across London from 2nd - 22nd November.
Warm coat collections will also take place at the following Tube stations from 3rd - 5th November, between 7:00am and 11:00am: King's Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Moorgate and Waterloo.

Wrap Up Worldwide
The need for a warm coat is universal. No matter where we live, everyone deserves protection from the cold.
What began in London has quickly become a much wider movement. Today, Wrap Up initiatives can be found in communities across the UK, as well as in Berlin.
None of this would have been possible without the tireless work of local organisations and volunteers, each of whom have brought their own enthusiasm and generosity to the cause.

We collect from 90+ London wide drop-off points listed at the top of this page between 2nd - 22nd November. We will also be collecting at Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, Moorgate, Waterloo and London Bridge Underground Stations between 3rd - 5th November, 7am - 11am.
No, we never sell on the coats we receive, they always go to charities and non-profits supporting real people. Donating a coat is not only beneficial in itself, it also works as a gateway for an individual to gain access to other services and support given by our charity partners.

Wrap Up London is looking for volunteers for our launch week and at our sorting hub. Sorting hub volunteering is open to workplace teams and community groups from Tuesdays to Fridays, 17th November - 17th December. Contact wrapup@handsonlondon.org.uk to arrange your session.
Individuals, families and friends can sign up to volunteer on Saturdays during the same period. These volunteering sessions will be listed on our Community Volunteering page.
The window to host an official collection is now closed, but you can still collect coats informally and take them to a public donation point.
Wrap Up London has limited drivers and can only collect coats from our 90+ public-facing drop-off points. Workplace and community collections must find their way to a drop-off point during the collection period, 2nd - 22nd November.
Yes. Wrap Up London accepts warm coats for men, women and children. We even accept dog coats!
No, we are unable to accept fur coats (but faux fur is fine).
We can only accept warm coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Please refrain from sharing other items that would be better used with other initiatives and charities, including tops, trousers, hosiery, shoes and rag materials. We can only accept warm coats, hats, gloves and scarves. We cannot accept blankets, duvets and pillows for hygiene reasons.
